Sheriff's Office - multiple facilities

These projects will provide the Sheriff’s Office facilities with the appropriate space to operate effectively and maintain the Sheriff’s Office standards. It will allow the Sheriff’s Office to continue to provide safe, clean, and well-maintained facilities for employees, residents, and visitors.


PROJECT GOALS:

  • Conduct various renovation, repairs, and enhancements to various Sheriff’s Office facilities; with the goal of providing safe, clean, and well-maintained facilities for employees, residents, and visitors of Collier County
  • Modernize the various Sheriff’s Office facilities
  • Capture energy savings from updated technology
  • Recapture maintenance expenses through product warranties on new hardware

PROJECT FEATURES:

  • Consists of over 65 individual maintenance subprojects
  • Subprojects are located between nine (9) Sheriff’s Office facilities throughout the County
    • Subprojects include:
    • Roof replacement projects
    • HVAC replacement projects
    • Flooring replacements
    • Wholesale building LED re-lamping
    • Painting and building envelope sealing
    • Plumbing improvements
    • Pavement milling and resurfacing

COSTS AND FUNDING:

  • Total project cost is estimated at $3.2 M
  • Current budgeted funding in the next five (5) years is approximately $1.3 M
  • The current shortfall is $1.9 M
